What’s going on with full-size vans? The U.S. sales of these large monsters are climbing high over the first six months of 2023 (compared to 2022). Mercedes-Benz has not reported sales numbers yet, but all others saw sales improvements with the exception of the ancient Chevy Express. The equally ancient GMC Savana had a good year so far.
Ford sold 2,912 electric E-Transit vans. Their regular Ford Transit sales saw huge growth as well. We do not know how many electric vans GM/Brightdrop or Rivian sold over the last few months because they do not clearly report those numbers.
