The newly refreshed 2025 Ram 1500 half-ton pickup truck lineup is coming to market soon. We now have more information about the truck’s pricing and when it begins production. The starting price of the latest truck is not far from where it was, but the higher trim levels are significantly more expensive. The all-new Ram 1500 Tungsten grade is reaching over $90,000 with options. Here are all the details.

Ram officially stated that the the new 2025 Ram 1500 will go on sale in Q1 of 2024. According to 5thGenRams.com, the new truck’s production is slated to begin on February 5, 2024, at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan. This matches what Ram originally stated. However, it may take several weeks for the first trucks to reach the dealerships after the start of production. It means customers may have to wait until March or later until they get their hands on these trucks.

The 2025 Ram 1500 order books have been open for several weeks. Your local Ram Trucks dealer should be able to take your order now or tell you which trucks they already ordered.

Ram Trucks has NOT officially revealed the new pricing yet, and the 2025 Ram 1500 online configurator is not live yet. However, we have information from Car and Driver and several local dealerships. Here is what we know so far.

The base 2025 Ram 150 Tradesman quad cab pickup truck with 2WD will start at $42,270 (including destination charges). This is $855 more than the outgoing version of the truck. This price gets you updated exterior styling, small changes to the interior, and the same 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with approximately 305 horsepower.

Here is a quick grade-based price comparison. The SST designation refers to the new 3.0-liter twin-turbo “Hurricane” I6 engine that replaces the discontinued 5.7L HEMI V8. The new SST is rated at 420 hp and 469 lb-ft of torque. All engines will be mated to versions of Ram’s 8-speed automatic transmission. The H.O. refers to the high-output version of the Hurricane engine with a rating of 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque.

The SST 420 horsepower version of the engine will cost $2,695. This is a reasonable price considering that the current 2024 V8 is a $3,045 option.

The H.O. version of the engine is not expected to arrive until later in the year (possibly Q3 of 2024). The H.O. will be a standard engine for the 2025 Ram 1500 Limited, Limited Longhorn, and the new Tungsten grades. Customers will have to wait to get these luxurious models.

The updated Ram 1500 Big Horn 2WD is priced at just $105 more than the outgoing model. The price gap grows a lot once you move to the more optioned Laramie and Rebel off-road trims. All the information we have so far says that the new Laramie and Rebel trucks will not offer the base 3.6L V6 as they do now. These will start with the 420-horsepower Hurricane engine.

The new Ram 1500 Laramie will start at $2,105 higher than the current truck. The off-road prepped Ram 1500 Rebel will start at $1,555 more.

As you can tell from the table above. Once you go for the 540 horsepower Ram 1500 Limited or Ram 1500 Tungsten the price difference grows further. The all-new Tungsten trim will start at $89,150. One Ram dealership representative told TFLtruck that a new 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten with options and accessories can sticker at over $95,000. Whoa! We are not even discussing the new Ram 1500 RHO off-road truck or a possible future Ram TRX.
