Roush is teaming up with Ram to offer this 2027 Ram 1500 V8 by Roush. It’s 5.7L HEMI V8-powered new pickup with suspension, exhaust, and appearance updates. If you are used to Roush supercharging everything, you may be sad to find out this one does not offer a supercharger. However, this one is a bit more affordable with other Ram Direct Connection supercharged offerings. Let’s dig in!

Direct Connection is a name for Ram’s performance parts division that owners or companies can use or integrate with to customized their trucks.

This package starts as a 2027 Ram 1500 Big Horn crew cab 4×4. It adds a Level 2 equipment package. Next, the Roush team go to work to add a specially tuned coil-over front suspension. This gives the truck a bit of a suspension lift and different ride quality over the rough stuff. Roush adds 33-inch General Grabber A/TX all-terrain tires that are mounted on 18-inch wheels. This is approximately the same height and stance that a new Ram 1500 Rebel offers.

You won’t confuse this truck for a new Rebel because of the Raptor-style amber clearance lights in the grille and the fender flares. The truck looks sharp with a body color-matched front bumper. Roush says the adaptive cruise and all other ADAS features are unaffected. The payload and towing specs are also unaffected.

The 5.7L HEMI V8 is rated at 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. This is the same as any new Ram 1500. The Roush version is fitted with an active exhaust system that can be configured to be quieter or louder, depending on your preference.

This package also gets a customized interior. Take a look at the images below.

The total cost of the Roush package is $15,995 and the truck you see here has a price of $78,960.
