GM announces the pricing for the 2027 GMC Sierra HD pickup truck lineup. This is in addition to the 2027 Chevy Silverado HD pricing that was revealed just a little while ago. Here are the starting prices for the seven Sierra HD trim levels. We also know the optional price for the new 8.3L “Megamax” L6P turbo-diesel V8 engine. Let’s dig in!
All starting prices that are listed here are for crew cab 4×4 versions of the Sierra HD.

The Denali Ultimate trim is only available with the Duramax turbo-diesel engine. This accounts for the large jump in price when compared to all other trim levels, which use the 6.6L gas V8 engine as the base engine.
Speaking of the new 8.3L Duramax V8. This new engine is rated at 555 hp and 1,230 lb-ft of torque. GM says that the GMC Sierra HD diesel engine price goes up from $9,990 for the L5P 6.6L Duramax to $11,400 for the L6P 8.3L engine. It is a considerable price jump, but it’s this turbo diesel is still lower priced than the Ford’s high-output 6.7L Power Stroke V8 and Ram’s high-output 6.7L Cummins I6.
