Chevrolet officially announces the starting prices of the 2027 Chevy Silverado HD pickup truck lineup, and the price of the optional 8.3L Duramax V8 turbo-diesel. Here’s everything we have so far. Let’s dig in!
Chevrolet says that it will continue to offer six main trim levels of their HD pickup trucks. You can see all of them below. It’s $1,000 for the more basic trims, and upwards of $1,500 for the most luxurious High Country trim.

Everybody has been waiting for the 8.3L “Megamax” V8 diesel engine pricing. Chevrolet surprises us a bit with a very competitive 8.3L L6P V8 optional price of $11,400. This is $1,500 more than the outgoing 6.6L L5P Duramax diesel.
Here is how this diesel price compares against Ford and Ram.

The new L6P Duramax is now the most powerful and the lowest priced turbo-diesel in its class.
