You may have already seen the Toyota Tundra 2022 Super Bowl ad – “The Joneses”. It features (at first) three and then four very recognizable people – Tommy Lee Jones, Leslie Jones, Rashida Jones, and Nick Jonas. Now we get to learn the behind-the-scenes details.
While the celebrities were on camera, many legendary drivers were doing the stunt work behind the scenes. Rod Millen was dressed like Tommy Lee Jones to do the driving work. Rod Millen is no stranger to driving and racing Toyota trucks off-road. Here is Rod’s 1999 custom-built hill-climb Toyota racing truck that he drove at the Pikes Peak hill climb.
