Does this look like an original 1960 Jeep FC 150 pickup truck to you? It does have the 1960 FC 150 cab, bed, and wheelbase. However, this 2016 Easter Jeep Safari concept truck sits on top of a late 2000’s Jeep TJ chassis and is powered by a 4.0-liter motor with fuel injection that is mated to an automatic transmission. It also has power steering and power brakes. This little “resto-mod” truck is actually relatively easy to drive after you get used to sitting right over the front axle.
It may look front heavy, but the body components have been modified for a stable weight distribution. It has a thick-gauge steel bed and an additional weight in the back to keep it balanced.
Is that a hay bale in the back of the bed? You will be surprised! Watch the video to find out.
Get all the details as Jeep’s Mark Allen and Roman Mica drive the FC 150 around the beautiful off-road haven of Moab, Utah.
