What trucks do real farmers drive? We go to a livestock auction to sell Mr Truck’s goats and see the trucks that haul the livestock. This episode is all about haulin’ goats and farmer trucks.
Mr Truck had these two goats for over three years. It’s time to move on and sell them. We use a Stocker trailer to bring them to the auction in Northen Colorado. Perhaps the more exciting reason for going is actually talking with the farmers and ranchers about their work trucks.
In this episode, we get to know a Chevy Silverado 3500 HD regular cab short bed 4×4, a 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 HD dually, a 2002 Ford F-250 crew cab diesel, and a very cool big International truck.
We also count the number of trucks from each brand on the lot to see which heavy duty truck maker is most popular at the auction. Our rough count shows there are more Dodge & Ram trucks in the lot than any other manufacturer.
At the end of the day we find out the final price and proceeds for the two goats. Join us in the video below to get the farmer truck stories and the price for the goats.
