Nissan is giving us an early look at their upcoming 2026 and 2027 vehicles. Here is a teaser at a future design of a Nissan midsize pickup truck for the Latin American region. This is what the next version of a Nissan NP300 or Nissan Navara will look like. Let’s dig in!

Nissan specifically says that this pickup truck is targeted at the Latin American market. This is not a preview of the next Nissan Frontier for the U.S. Nonetheless, this dark silhouette has a lot of resemblance to the current Navara and the Frontier. The front end and the light pattern are new. We do not get see all of the detail in this teaser.

Nissan is promoting their e-POWER extended range EV propulsion system. The first vehicle in the United States to see this should be the 2026 Nissan Rogue compact crossover. Will this e-POWER system be also used in a Nissan pickup truck. There is no information about it at this time. The Nissan e-POWER system uses a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine as a generator to replenish batteries and power the vehicle’s electric motor(s).

Other manufacturers (such as BYD and their Shark pickup truck) are already selling midsize pickups with a very similar gasoline range-extended electric system. Here is a close look at a BYD Shark pickup truck.

Nissan does say that they are working on a range of propulsion systems for their upcoming vehicles around the world. This includes internal combustion engines, hybrids, plug-in hybrids, EV, and e-POWER systems.

Here is a look at the rest of the upcoming Nissan lineup for the U.S. This is also a teaser. It includes several SUVs and sedans. The vehicle in the foreground is a clear look at a production version of a 2026 Nissan Leaf EV.
