If you are an early Tesla Cybertruck reservation holder, your decision just got a bit harder. Tesla is now requiring a $1,000 non-refundable deposit for an early Cybertruck Foundation series. It used to be a $250 order fee (minus the $100 original reservation fee).
Yep, this is a sizable non-refundable deposit. This should make reservation holders think a bit longer and harder about whether they should continue with the Cybertruck order or cancel now. Is this new non-refundable deposit there because many reservation holders already canceled their place in line and walked away?
The new 2024 Tesla Cybertruck limited edition Foundation Series comes in two flavors: dual-motor AWD Foundation Series for about $102,000 or a tri-motor AWD Cyberbeast Foundation Series for about $122,000. These prices include a $1,995 destination charge and the $20,000 Foundation Series limited edition package.
