Where can you find a decent and very affordable used pickup truck? You can find them on our new TFLclassics video series – Buy or Bust! In this episode, Tommy and Brendan go to a local auction and find three very interesting and affordable used trucks.
First up is a Nissan “Hardbody” pickup truck. It’s a 2WD two-door mini-truck with a 2.4L gas engine. The cab and bed have very little rust and it is a very simple machine with very few items that can go wrong. Take a look at the video below to see what this truck sells for.
Next is a bigger and newer Nissan truck – a 1st-generation Nissan Titan! This one has a LOT of miles – nearly 250,000 miles. Believe it or not, the price of this V8-powered Titan is not far from that little Hardbody 2WD trucklet.
Finally, the guys find a Ford F-150 2WD regular cab with a 4.6-liter gas V8. This is a very popular engine but it has its issues. This truck goes on the auction block, but it does not sell as it does not reach the reserve.
