The 2021 Dodge Durango can tow up to 8,700 lbs with lots of go-fast goodies

This 2021 Dodge Durango R/T has a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that makes 360 and 390 lb-ft of torque, more importantly, it comes with Dodge’s new Tow N Go trailering system. The point of this setup is to allow the Durango consumer the option of towing up to 8,700 lbs without having to opt for an SRT model. That means, lots of upgrades for your Durango!

You can read about the new Durango’s specs (here).

The 2021 Dodge Durango with the Tow N Go package gives you SRT tires and wheels, an upgraded (active damping) suspension, and Brembo brakes. You also get a limited-slip differential, SRT performance exhaust, and active noise cancellation. When you add this up with the standard brake controller, you get a performance Durango that has serious towing chops.

The 2021 Dodge Durango R/T (rear-drive) model has a starting MSRP of $45,305. FCA has not announced the price of the Tow N Go package. Even the base model Dodge Durango has an excellent tow rating of 6,200 lbs with their Pentastar V6. Base model Durangos currently start at $31,765.

The interior and exterior of the 2021 Durango have received several updates, including a larger (optional) 10.3″ display.

In this video, Roman and Tommy attend a Dodge event and bring you an up-close and personal look at this refreshed model. That includes a detailed walk-around, exhaust note (which sounds epic), and a drive while towing a drag-car. In this class, the Durango with Tow N Go is one of the top haulers.

Would you buy one?

There is another important matter we need to discuss. Yes, the Durango with the Tow N Go package is video worthy, but there’s something else. In this video, Tommy and Roman get into a row over Tommy’s questionable taste in clothing. Watch the video and see if you agree with Roman or Tommy about his wardrobe selection.
