The all-new 2022 GMC Hummer EV is now official! You can learn everything about it in TFLtruck’s comprehensive Hummer EV world debut video. One very interesting aspect struck me. The new Hummer truck is featuring a new 13.4-inch center infotainment screen. Many reports say that GM is working to update and upgrade the 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 interiors. A new infotainment system is part of the equation. We recently spied a 2022 Silverado 1500 prototype that gave us a glimpse at a larger screen on the inside (see the video below).
The Ram 1500 introduced a luxurious 12-inch vertical touch-screen in their new 2019 trucks. Ford is adding a 12-inch horizontal touch-screen in the more upscale versions of the new 2021 F-150. If Chevy or GMC wanted to have a more tech-laden interior in their mainstream trucks, then this Hummer EV 13.4-inch screen can do it.
