A recent report suggests that a new Ford Super Duty off-road truck is being prepared for an imminent debut. This is according to a Ford Executive, Jim Farley: “Everyone loves the Raptor. With the new Super Duty, we got another new version that no one’s ever seen; not a Raptor, but something different.” Take a look at Left Lane News for more details.
We have speculated about a special off-road version of the new Ford Super Duty truck before. We think it should be called either a High Boy or Super Raptor. We are talking about something more than the existing FX4 package. Such an off-road special should have a suspension lift, lockers, very aggressive tires, a winch, crawl control, cameras, and more.
If such a Ford truck is being prepared, it makes sense for it to be built-up in order to go up directly against the Ram Power Wagon.
Please stay tuned in the coming weeks, as we learn more about the upcoming new 2020 Ford Super Duty.
