Are V8-powered Ram Trucks making a return? Ram teases some big news that are being released on June 8th, 2025. Ram Trucks published an official teaser video clip on their social channels that includes the company CEO, Tim Kuniskis. Tim is joined by @heavyDsparks and a U.S. fighter pilot. The message says “06.08.25 Nothing Stops Ram”. The clip is short and does not offer much more detail. What could it be?
Our friends at Mopar Insiders think that it is indeed pointing to Ram re-reintroducing the “HEMI” V8 engine into their truck lineup. Why? Mopar Insiders says the Ram V8 engine’s internal codename is the F-15 or Eagle. The F-15 Eagle is also a classic fighter jet. If you combine the fighter plane pilot from the teaser with this information, you can come to this conclusion.
Here is our speculation…
This Ram Truck news drops on June 8th, 2025. It is a Sunday. It’s very unusual for any automotive manufacturer to drop big news over the weekend. Unless it coincides with a major sporting event. Ram is also rumored to enter the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2026. There are several NASCAR races at the Michigan International Speedway on Jun 7th and 8th. This Ram news could align with something that is happening with their racing efforts.
Ready for this wild quess… Ram is making news on June 8th (6.8 2025). Could it be a new 6.8L gas V8 engine for their heavy-duty pickup trucks? Alright, let’s stop all speculation.
What do you think?
This teaser is NOT an official statement from Ram Trucks. We will be watching this space very closely over the next couple of weeks. You can be sure that TFLtruck.com will our TFLtruck Youtube channel will be first with a very detailed video of this news.
