The all-new 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X Edition 1 top-of-the-line comes into focus with this latest teaser image (see below). You can see our interpretation of what it might look like above.
GMC says that the company spent the time in Moab, Utah to develop and fine-tune this most off-road-worthy version of the Canyon midsize pickup truck. Since the new 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Desert Boss is officially unveiled, we can make some assumptions and predictions about the upcoming GMC Canyon AT4X that will make its world debut on Aug 11, 2022 at 11 am EST. We will have a highly detailed Canyon AT4X presentation next week. Please come back for all the details.
We predict that the new 2023 Canyon AT4X will be powered by the high-output 2.7-liter turbocharged I4 engine that is also under the hood of the new Chevy Colorado ZR2 and the current Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks. This engine is rated at 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. We expect the Canyon AT4X to retain the same power rating.
The Canyon AT4X is likely to roll on 33-inch all-terrain tires and make use of Multimatic DSSV spool valve shocks and selectable front and rear locking differentials.
