Check out this 2022 Ford F-150 Performance off-road truck at the 2022 Chicago Auto Show. Why is it worth a close look? It’s because it’s showcasing the latest Ford Performance parts and accessories. More specifically, it’s the suspension leveling kit, performance exhaust, and larger tires. The surprise comes when you look underneath and see Bilstein shocks (instead of the FOX shocks that were offered before). Here are all the details.
A couple of years ago, Ford announced an off-road performance suspension leveling kit for the previous generation of the F-150. That suspension kit was using FOX shocks. This new Ford tuned suspension kit is using Bilstein shocks. Hence the “Shock War”!
The F-150 STX super cab truck that is shown at the show features a blacked-out grille, Ford Performance badges on the side fender vents, RIGID F-150 hood hinge mounted light kit, blue painted front tow hooks, skid plate kit, cat-back sport exhaust system, and more. Why is important? These Ford Performance parts are “Ford Tuned”, verified, and tested to work together. These parts and accessories can be installed by the dealer and purchased with the new truck financing (if you choose to do so).
