Ram introduces the new 2022 Ram 1500 lineup and this new BackCountry edition of the truck. This truck is ready for any active lifestyle with off-road equipment and the latest style in one package. The BackCountry edition starts out as a popular Big Horn or Lone Star trim level.
The new package includes unique off-road shocks, Falken Wildpeak A/T all-terrain tires with 18-inch wheels, skid plates, locking rear differential, hill descent control, and more. The BackCountry combined the features from the 4×4 Off-Road and Utility groups of options.
The interior is black with a 7-inch infotainment screen, unique badging, and rubber floor mats. The BackCountry edition is available in a quad-cab or a crew-cab configuration with a choice of a 5.7L V8 or a 5.7L V8 with an eTorque mild-hybrid system. The pricing starts at $40,085, plus $1,695 destination.
The 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry trucks will go on sale in the third quarter of this year (2021).
