The Tahoe and the Suburban are fully redesigned to offer more space for people and cargo, as well as providing more convenience and comfort. These full-size SUVs are now riding on a fully independent suspension system. There is no more solid rear axle in the back.

The engine choices are familiar. There is a 5.3-liter V8, a 6.2-liter V8, and a 3.0-liter I6 turbo-diesel. The second level LT will reportedly start at $57,795, the RST at $61,095, the off-road Z71 at $63,195, the Premier at $66,595, and the range-topping High Country at $73,595. The 4×4 versions carry another $3,000 over that.
