Ford is offering up a new style option for its Ranger midsize pickup, and hopefully you like black.
The Ranger Black Appearance Package will include a black grille, body-color bumpers, high-gloss black 18-inch aluminum wheels, black running boards, a spray-in bed liner, black mirrors, a black sill plate, a black bash plate and a black lower valence. So needless to say, the truck will be very black.
Opting for the package will cost an additional $1,995 and is available for orders at dealers right now with deliveries starting this summer.
Ford says that two-thirds of all Rangers sold have left the dealership with some type of appearance package, so this is just another option for customers to choose from.
Black appearance packages are a popular option for pickup trucks and are offered by a number of the competition including Chevy, Nissan and Ram.
