The 2019 Chevy Silverado has already been reviewed extensively on TFLTruck, but the 2019 Silverado configurator for this rig just recently went live.
So of course, we dove in, configuring countless trucks to get all the details on how much each significant upgrade costs, and what all the configurations are. And of course, we built the cheapest version of the Silverado possible, along with the most expensive, and finished with the truck that we would purchase if it was our money. Currently, the 2019 Silverado is available in three different cab and bed configurations: regular bed double cab, short bed crew cab, and regular bed crew cab. Regular cab models and a long-box option should be available soon.
When looking at the low end of the scale, the 2019 Silverado Work Truck fitted with a 4.3-liter V6 engine, the truck starts at $33,695. As the regular cab trucks start coming online in the plant, that starting price should get a bit cheaper.

At the top end, you have the Silverado High Country, which can be loaded up with all sorts of technology including a head-up display, lane keep assist, rear-view camera mirror and a lot more. Under the hood is the 6.2-liter V8, packing 460 lb-ft of torque and 420 hp, mated to a four-wheel drive system of course. The the top end, this truck costs $69,345, though we could have still packed on a couple more options to push it past $70,000.
And then looking at the lineup, if we had to choose a truck, it would have to be the Custom Trail Boss with a 5.3-liter V8. Although we would like the big 6.2-liter V8, you have to get at least an LTZ-trim truck to get it, and we would rather take less luxury content and more off-road features, so Custom Trail Boss it is. Built up with a few options, our truck came out to $47,235, not a crazy price for a pretty capable machine.
