Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, and their GMC cousins (Yukon and Yukon XL) declined in April 2017 sales. Although, this does not prevent the Tahoe from continuing its large SUV segment domination.
While April was not very friendly to most full-size SUVs, Ford Expedition and Nissan Armada enjoyed significant sales increases. The Expedition is comfortably in second place, while the fully redesigned Armada is knocking on the door of the Yukon XL for fifth place.
Toyota Sequoia and Lincoln Navigator sales continue to dwindle. The Sequoia is getting a refresh and new driver-assist technologies for 2018. The Lincoln is all-new for 2018. This space will be very interesting to watch over the next six months or so.
