We all know that a Military 6×6 5-ton (M925a2) truck will tow just about anything and will go just about anywhere. Actually, the M925a2 is officially rated at a maximum towing of 15,000 lbs, when also fully loaded. It can handle more if you don’t have cargo onboard.
However, will a 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD be able to tow the 6×6 truck that has a curb weight of approximately 23,000 lbs? How about towing it uphill, on a closed road, and in the rain? This is what we wanted to find out, while we learn everything about the 1990 M925a2 6×6 truck.
Thanks to Allen at ReferenceTek for working with us and showing his 6×6 5-ton truck.
