If you are looking for the most luxurious GM truck with a heavy dose of style and you still want to tow, then a Cadillac Escalade is your ticket. This 2015 Escalade 4WD is rated at a maximum 8,100 pounds of towing capacity. It has the 6.2L V8 with 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. It also features the new 8-speed automatic transmission.
The magnetic ride suspension system has two settings: Touring and Sport. As you may have guessed, the Touring setting is softer and more compliant. However, this suspension is also capable of self-leveling, which is a useful feature for towing.
TFLtruck would like to take this SUV up the Ike Gauntlet, but the virtual tow off part is in how we want to present the final video. How about splitting the screen into four quadrants and having the competitor SUV Ike Gauntlet towing footage play in the three screen, while we take the Escalade up the extreme grade? We can compare it to the 2015 Lincoln Navigator, 2015 Infiniti QX80, and the 2015 Lexus LX570. We also ran the 2015 GMC Yukon XL Denali with the same powertrain. It may also be interesting if the Escalade behaves any differently.
