2014 Toyota Tundra vs Ford F-150 vs Ram 1500 0-60 Towing Matchup Review (Part 1)

The 2014 Toyota Tundra and the Ford F-150 and the Ram 1500 compete for the same buyers.

Except of course that they don’t really compete because if you are a Ford guy or Gal you’ll probably drive Ford pickup trucks for your entire life.

The same can be said for the other truck brands as well.

In another fun and informative TFLtruck video we decided to find out which of these three trucks is the fastest from 0-60 MPH and which one is fastest towing a boat from 0-60 MPH.

In this part 1 of this ultimate towing challenge we start by testing the 2014 Toyota Tundra CrewMax Limited 4×4 from 0-60 MPH.  This truck has the 5.7-liter iForce V8 engine.  Of course, we ran the 2013 Toyota Tundra CrewMax Limited 4×4 through this exact test back in August.  We used the same stretch of road and the same driver.  The 2013 was slower as you can see here.  Both trucks had the same drivetrain, and the only major difference was the ambient temperature.  It was around 81 F for the 2014 test, and around 94 F for the 2013.
