The destination charges for many new pickup trucks continue to rise. It wasn’t too long ago that we saw the destination charge cross over the $2,000 amount. Over the last several months we saw this non-optional charge climb up to $2,695. We thought it was done. Now, it’s going further up to $2,795. Let’s take a look at all of the full-size pickup truck manufacturers and see what they charge. They are not all the same. Let’s dig in!
Ford and General Motors have increased the destination charge up to $2,795. This includes their full-size trucks, heavy-duty trucks, and full-size SUVs such as the Chevy Tahoe, Ford Expedition, and full-size luxury vehicles from Lincoln, GMC, and Cadillac. Take a look at some of the configurator screen shots below.

Ram is charging $2,595 for the Ram 1500, and Toyota is at $2,095 for the Tundra. It’s difficult to say if Ram and/or Toyota will raise their destination charges soon. We definitely hope that they don’t.
