It’s time to find out which is the fastest & quickest full-size pickup truck in the land. This is the final test in our 2026 Full-size Truck of the Year competition. This comparison is fun, but it also offers a real-world look at how these pickup trucks acceleration off the line, accelerate during a passing maneuver, and what top speed they can reach on a closed course. Let’s dig in!
This video series could not be possible without our friends at Granger Warranty and Weigh-Safe Hitches. It would also be impossible to do this without getting these new pickup truck on loan from the manufacturers. Thank you to all!

1/4-Mile Drag Race Results
We found something very interesting after several acceleration runs and drag race with each pickup truck. The Toyota Tundra Hybrid launches the hardest and the quickest. The Tundra has the quickest 60-foot time and it also has the highest measured top speed. However, the winner is determined by looking at the 0-60 mph acceleration times and the 1/4-mile times. This is where the Ford F-150 Hybrid shines. Take a look at the numbers below!

The big V8 in the GMC Sierra 1500 put up a good fight, but it is at a disadvantage at the higher elevation – where we test. The most powerful Toyota Tundra iFORCE MAX hybrid launches the best, but it is by far the heaviest pickup truck of this bunch. The standard-output Ram 1500 3.0L Hurricane twin-turbo I6 engine showed itself as a great performer in the lightest truck of this test. The Ford F-150 Powerboost hybrid offers a great balance of highway efficiency and acceleration.
