Could these be early teaser images of the upcoming 2027 Ford Super Duty refresh? Ford’s CEO, Jim Farley, recently published these image on Instagram. The caption reads “Product Day! My favorite of the month. Great discussions and debate about future Mustangs, Super Dutys, and the Ford Digital Experience.” Let’s dig a little deeper and see if we can learn anything.
The image you see above show a pickup truck cab cutaway with seats and a dash. It appears to be an F-150 or Super Duty cab, judging by the kink in the top of the wind shield. Since, the CEO says they are talking about Super Duty (F-250, F-350, etc) – we can assume this is a Super Duty cab. The dash appears to be very similar to that of the recently redesigned 2025 Ford Expedition. It has two screens, one stacked above the other. See below.

This is all just speculation at this time since Ford did not make any official announcements about any changes to the 2027+ Ford Super Duty. The 2026 Super Duty online configurator and order guide are already out as of this writing. These Instagram images may simply show rough prototypes that are involved in the discussions and debates. These are not final products.
What do you think? Do you want to see a significant update to the Ford Super Duty interior? Should it mostly resemble the new Expedition SUV? After all, the Super Duty pickup trucks and the Expeditions SUVs are built at the same factory – Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant.
Wait there is more. There is another image published on Instagram. There is a small blurry image of what appears to be a Ford Super Duty pickup truck. What do you think? Is this an updated 2027 model?

Final Thoughts
Why suggest the 2027 model year? The 2027 model year is expected to be a very busy one for the U.S.-based pickup truck market. We have already seen camouflaged prototypes of the 2027 GM 1500 pickup trucks and 2027 GM HD diesel-powered pickup trucks. If GM is planning big changes, then Ford is there step for step. It’s a very competitive market. The Super Duty lineup saw its last major update for the 2023 model year, so another update for 2027 is not out of the question. Once again, this is speculation.
The next 12 months should also brings us production versions of the Ram RamCharger range-extended hybrid, the Ram TRX, and the Jeep Gladiator 4xe hybrid. Also, an updated F-150 may not be that far away.
