The midsize pickup truck segment is still looking healthy in October 2022, as numbers from Toyota and Honda suggest. The Ford Ranger sales are still very low, but it seems to have stabilized at around 4,000 trucks per month. For the month of October, Ford switches places with the Ridgeline by outselling the Honda by a small margin. Tacoma is still dominating the midsize pickup segment by selling over 20,000 trucks each of the recent few months.

As far as compact pickup trucks are concerned, the Ford Maverick continues to break expectations by selling over 9,200 pickups in one month. This is a big number. Ford sold more Mavericks last month than Kia Forte, Honda Pilot, Hyundai Elantra, Lexus RX, and many other popular sedans, crossovers, and SUVs.
