This low-mile 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 HD Cummins diesel 4×4 truck may just be one of the nicest 2nd-generation Ram trucks of the era. This story and images come to us from Andy Barley. Andy, thank you for sending this to us and thank you for your support over the years.
1996 Dodge Ram 2500 HD
This truck has 86,000 miles on the odometer, and Andy is the second owner. Take a look at the two-tone paint of this quad cab (aka. club cab) and the matching bed topper. It looks mighty good. Under the hood is a 5.9-liter Cummins I6 6BT 12-valve turbo-diesel engine. It is rated at between 180-215 horsepower and 420-440 lb-ft of torque (depending on which transmission it is mated to).
This truck is equipped with factory helper springs, power windows, mirrors, and locks. The AC works well and the interior is in great shape as well. There are no cracks on top of the dashboard, and there are some signs of wear on the door cards.
This truck was used for work as well, but it hardly shows it. Let us know what you think in the comments below. If you want to submit your own pickup truck review – please send pictures and your story to firstname.lastname@example.org.
