Priced to compete: the 2022 Infiniti QX80 has a starting price of $70,600.
The 2022 Infiniti QX80, which is one of the automaker’s top-selling vehicles, reenters the fray with a host of upgrades. It comes with the venerable 400 horsepower 5.6-liter V-8 that produces 413 lbs-feet of torque. It’s still paired to a 7-speed automatic transmission, and there are no optional powertrains; however, you can get Infiniti’s “All-Mode” four-wheel drive for an additional $3,100. The good news is that includes all grades of the new QX80. The current QX80 starts at $69,150, so there is a base price bump.
The MSRP does not include destination and handling, which is $1,395.
While the platform and powertrain are essentially the same, the interior has received some significant upgrades. The 2022 Infiniti QX80’s now offers a single, 12.3-inch display for infotainment. The QX80 also features wireless Apple CarPlay and USB-based Android Auto compatibility. A wireless smartphone charger is included.
