This is the fully-optioned version of the new Hummer truck that is coming to production first. The Edition 1 trucks should reach customers by the end of this year. Here are all of the new details.
The 2022 GMC Hummer EV Truck Edition 1 is an off-road truck that is absolutely packed with luxury features. It also happens to be a battery-electric 4×4 (aka. e4WD) with up to 1,000 horsepower and a price tag of around $112,000. GMC says that the largest battery option that is available in this Edition 1 will allow for a maximum driving range of around 350 miles.
Let’s take a closer look at all the options codes because it lists many options and accessories. A power-retractable tonneau cover and a roof-mounted light bar are just a couple of the items available.
Generally speaking, there are not a lot of surprises hidden in this options list. The new Hummer will have the luxury and convenience features that can be currently found in a nicely equipped GMC Sierra Denali truck. However, there is more. It’s very interesting to see some of the items as an optional bed-mounted spare tire carrier, additional A-pillar off-road lights, hitch guidance camera views, trailer brake controller, spray-in bed liner, 18-inch wheels, 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires, and more.
There are many advanced technology features, including “Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist” and the latest version of the semiautonomous Super Cruise system.
