A report by Automotive News suggests that the Ford Maverick compact crossover truck will begin production in July 2021 with sales to follow around the October timeframe. This is a bit ahead of the schedule that we initially expected. Ford has made no official statements about this little pickup truck yet. However, these thinly clad prototypes suggest that Ford development of the truck is getting closer to completion.
When will we see an official announcement about the upcoming compact truck, a smaller brother to the Ford Ranger? We will have to wait just a little more.
