Report: Is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition Delayed Until Summer?

2020 jeep gladiator rubicon launch edition delay

We received a report that the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Launch Edition is not going to reach customers until later this summer. Jeep kicked off the sale of the new 2020 Gladiator truck with the announcement that of the Launch Edition truck.

Jeep said there will be 4,190 commemorative edition Rubicon trucks built. These are very well optioned Rubicon models with nearly every option imaginable and special Launch Edition wheels and badging. The Launch Edition truck price is $62,310, and one of the 4,190 owner would win a one-year salary (not to exceed $100,000).

The Launch Edition Gladiator sold out in about one day (this was on April 4, 2019), meaning all order were placed.

None of the information made it clear when the Launch Edition truck would actually reach the customers who ordered them. The 2020 Gladiator trucks started reaching dealerships and customer at the very end of April 2019, but the Launch Edition has not been seen.

This new report from an anonymous source claims that Launch Edition will not be produced and reach customers until later this summer (likely in August 2019 timeframe). We have not been able to confirm this. We have reached out to Jeep for comment, and we will let you know any updates.
