Pickup trucks continue to rack up sales. Ram Trucks, Nissan, and Toyota all showed growth in September 2018. Ram sold nearly 52,000 half-ton & heavy duty trucks for the month as the new 2019 Ram 1500 become more available and plentiful at dealerships and regions around the country.
Chevrolet and GMC are going through a model year turnover as all-new 2019 models are starting to roll in. The volume of Silverado and Sierra sales are about even when compared to last year in YTD numbers.
Toyota Tundra continues to improve sales, as did Nissan Titan with a huge 56.6% improvement over last September.
Ford F-Series sales slowed down when compared to last year, but F-150 and Super Duty still sold over 75,000 truck in one month. Ford continues to hold the top sales spot for full-size pickup trucks.
