What!? A Range Rover 6×6 Pickup Truck that Comes with Your Yacht?

This is German superyacht-builder ‘s Theodoros Fotiadis’ interpretation of what a proper superyacht tender should be – the  T.Fotiadis Superyacht Land Tender-SLT

Built as a tender vehicle for superyacht owners, the T.Fotiadis Superyacht Land Tender-SLT has three drive axles, six wheels, a pickup truck bed and is 19-feet in length. This vehicle will not be built by Jaguar/Land Rover, but rather by yacht designer Theodoros Fotiadis. He built the T.Fotiadis Superyacht Land Tender-SLT to compete against vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz-AMG G63 6×6 and Bentley Bentayga, among others.

I mean, who wants four wheels when six wheels is better – right? Still, judging by these pre-production photos, it looks like the T.Fotiadis Superyacht Land Tender-SLT is equipped with massive wheels and street tires. Not at all off-road-ish as the Mercedes-Benz-AMG G63. The pickup bed looks like it may be lined in Alcantara or Taaffeite.

Three engine choices, the 5.0-liter Jaguar/Land Rover Supercharged V8, 4.4-liter turbodiesel V8 or a 2-liter, 4-cylinder engine paired with a hybrid system. You get a fully customizable vehicle that even has a unique VIN number. Absolutely no information regarding its off-road system, towing, electronics, suspension systems, transmissions, cost or anything regarding drivability is available.

Supposedly it will debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2018.

If we ever got one, you can bet Mr. Truck, Andre, Roman and I would take it up the Ike Gauntlet – no doubt. Then we would cruise the overpriced ski chalets, because we have no place to park a super yacht in Colorado.

What do you think?

Speaking of truly expensive SUVs…

A special thank you to CarBuzz for the lead!
