The Tundra TRD Off-road has the hardware to handle an off-road challenge. Under the hood is still a 5.7L V8 with 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque that is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This truck’s 4WD system has a transfer case with low range gearing and a 4.30 rear axle ratio that comes with the towing package. It has 10.4 inches of ground clearance and relatively good approach and departure angles.
