Do you find the GMC Sierra 2500HD Diesel to be a little too different from a tank? GMC has a concept in mind for you. Introducing the 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD All Mountain Concept. Most notably, this snow-ready concept features Mattracks at all four corners to help it conquer literal mountains. The vehicle debuted at Vail Mountain Resort, where it will remain for the rest of the season on display.

Concept Features

What do you get with this crazy mountain-ready concept? There are the Mattracks® 150 Series Tracks with GMC Red finish. You also get some fancy graphics, wheel well and underbody LED lights, snowboard racks by Thule, a special stereo, a RIGID E-Series 30-Inch Light Bar, and to top it off, literally, a tonneau cover.

Powertrain

The Duramax 6.6L Turbo Diesel engine with 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque is hiding underneath this hood and the functional hood scoop. Power is sent to these tracks thanks to an Allison 1000 six-speed automatic transmission.

If you want to see the 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD All Mountain Concept, it will be on display at Vail for the winter season as part of an exclusive partnership announced earlier this year with Vail Resorts, Inc.

Look forwards to next week where we will be doing an extensive interview with GMC about this wacky concept from the LA Auto Show. Be sure to stay tuned to TFLtruck.com for more information about this cool concept from GMC.
