What happens to a vehicle after it gets into a serious accident? In this case, the 2014 EarthRoamer XV-LT appears to be “totaled” and it is on auction in Kansas with salvage title.
EarthRoamer is a company based in Colorado that builds 4×4 adventure RV vehicles that offer lots of room and highest luxury appointments. They use different Ford truck chassis vehicles as the basis for the RV. This luxury off-road rig is based on a Ford F-550 Super Duty with a 6.7L Power Stroke turbo-diesel V8. EarthRoamer lifts the truck, adds military grade wheels and tires, tough bumpers, winches, and their customized RV “box”. It offers all creature comforts, including a wine rack.
It appears that this particular rig rolled. The front end of the truck and the front of the RV box are smashed. At this time, we do not know what happened, but we hope the owner was on a cool adventure before disaster struck. We hope that nobody was hurt.
What is considered a rig worth $380,000, is now on auction that expires on May 8th with a current bid of $10,600. Is the frame bent? Can the rig be rebuild? We don’t the answers at this time, but this is still a very interesting find. We thank Hal S. for sending us this link.
