Ram 3500 Dually 0-60 MPH Test: How fast is 385 HP and 900 LB-FT? [VIDEO]

How fast can you go with an empty truck bed, dual rear wheels, and a turbo-diesel that makes exactly one gob of torque? That’s the question Nathan recently set out to answer with the 2016 Ram 3500 Dually.

Our $76,090 as-tested truck was equipped with a Cummins 6.7L inline-6 that puts out 385 hp and 900 lb-ft of torque, but only when mated to the $2,595 Aisin 6-speed transmission. The optional 4.10 rear axle ratio was also on our truck, giving us the best chance for spirited acceleration. Nathan did several runs to find out how fast an unladen Ram 3500 Dually can go from 0-60 mph.

Post your guesses in the comments below and then check out the video above to see the result. Keep in mind, we do our tests at one mile above sea level.
