In another fun and informative TFLtruck video we decided to find out which of these three trucks is the fastest from 0-60 MPH and which one is fastest towing a boat from 0-60 MPH at a mile above sea level. The trucks in this test are: 2014 Toyota Tundra Limited, 2013 Ram 1500 Sport, and 2013 Ford F-150 Limited. All trucks are crew cabs and equipped with 4×4.
Part 3 of this ultimate towing challenge sees the 2013 Ram 1500 Sport CrewCab 4×4 run the 0-60 MPH solo and towing our test boat. This truck has the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. The HEMI makes 395 hp and 407 lb-ft of torque, which is a little more than the iForce V8 in the Toyota. However, the closer ratios of the Ram’s 8-speed automatic keep the truck in the meat of the power, and it produced better results than the 2014 Tundra. Can the F-150 Ecoboost beat them all? Stay tuned to find out.
Tow Matchup Participant | Solo | With Boat |
