If the 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor seems familiar to you (especially in red color), then you might be thinking back to the days when the Ford Lightening ruled the pickup roost. And while the 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor is not built as a successor to the Ford Lightening, it certainly has the specifications to back up the “Sport Truck” claim.  It has the now familiar 3.5-liter Ecoboost V6 engine. It’s got 365 HP and 420 lb-ft of torque.  It has the 4.10 rear axle gearing for quick acceleration (0-60 MPH in the “mid 6s”).  It can be had with 2WD or 4WD and it has all the payload and towing capability of a standard regular cab F-150.  You are not losing any capability, but you are gaining on speed and interior comfort.  The Tremor is the only regular cab F-150 available with bucket seats and console shifter.
