It’s happy sales days for all full-size pickup truck manufacturers in February 2017 with the exception of the Toyota. The Tundra continues to decline in sales this calendar year. The truck declined -12.9% in February versus a year ago.
Less than a month ago Toyota revealed the refreshed 2018 Tundra at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. The 2018 model get new grilles, headlights, a TRD Sport model, and Toyota’s latest safety and driver assistance features. We are talking about adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and more. The Tundra has the same engine lineup as before. The 5.7L V8 is still the top engine option. Will this 2018 update be enough to boost Tundra sales? We will have to wait a few months to find out.

In other big news, Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra together have outsold the Ford F-Series during the month of February. Ford still hold the lead in Year-to-date (YTD) sales. Both Chevy and GMC saw big double-digit growth in February sales. The fight for pickup truck sales supremacy continues!
