It’s not every day that you come across a vehicle as unique as this Dodge Bio-Diesel RV. So what if the back does not have any windows. This self-made 4×4 RV is based on a 1990s Dodge 2500 HD platform. The living quarters are made from hand-formed metal in an aerodynamic shape that would make many RV manufacturers jealous. It’s got auxiliary lights, a cow catcher up front, and all.
Under the hood is a Cummins straight-six that has been converted to bio-diesel. It’s fed by large dual tanks, mounted on each side. We did not get the chance to meet the owner, but he is also a sailor. Notice the small sail-boat mast mounted along the side above the rear tire? At the back, there is a custom towing bar that can accept a tow-behind vehicle. The owner has 1950s or 1960s pickup truck that he tows along.
What a wonderful piece of machinery!
