GM is expanding their lineup of the 2026 GMC Sierra EV pickup trucks. GMC first introduced the Hummer EV vehicles several years ago. The Sierra EV Denali first came out for the 2024 model year. The lineup grows quiet a bit now with the introduction of the Elevation and AT4 off-road models. You have more options and a much more affordable starting price. Let’s dig in!
Here is the most important number. The 2026 Sierra EV Elevation with a smaller “standard range” battery has a starting price of $64,495 (including the $2,095 destination charge). This is a significant price decrease from where the 2024 & 2025 Sierra EV Denali trucks used to be.
The truck you see in this video has several optional features, so it will cost more than that starting price. Nonetheless, it’s a full-size pickup truck with dual-motor eAWD capability and 645 horsepower (605 horsepower with the base standard battery).

The GMC Sierra EV Elevation is priced aggressively, but it also skips on the following features. The base Standard Range model does not offer a 7.2 kW or a 10.2 kW energy export features. You get a standard 400 watt / 120 Volt power outlet. The base Elevation model offers 11 kW Level 2 AC charging and 220 kW Level 3 DC fast charging capability (it’s based on a 475 Volt battery system).
The Sierra EV Elevation Standard Range is rated at a maximum of 2,250 lbs of payload and 8,500 lbs of maximum towing capacity. The truck is rated to pull up to 12,500 lbs when you get an Extended Range battery.
