GMC is expanding the Sierra EV pickup truck lineup for 2026 with the official introduction of the Sierra EV Elevation base model and the Sierra EV AT4 off-road model. The luxurious Denali versions of the truck are also there. The pricing for the Sierra EV Elevation crew cab eAWD starts at $64,495 (including destination charges).
Many new electric pickup trucks are heavy due to large batteries. GMC is now offering three different battery sizes with the smaller batteries that bring down the price, the truck’s weight, and the total driving range. However, this also raises the payload capacities to a respectable 2,250 lbs for the Sierra EV Elevation and Sierra EV Denali with the Standard Range battery. The largest battery still offers up to 440 miles of driving range. We will update this story with the estimated driving range for the smallest battery.
The Sierra EVs that are equipped with an Extended Range battery have a claimed range of 390 miles. These trucks are also rated to tow up 12,300 lbs. We cannot wait to drive the base Elevation model and take the new AT4 off-road!
The Sierra EV AT4 comes with a 2-inch higher ride height and 35-inch (285/75R18) all-terrain tires. It also has a special Terrain Mode that enhanced traction and improves overall off-road maneuverability.
