Lexus is adding a new selection of flagship SUVs to their lineup. Welcome the 2025 Lexus LX 700h hybrid. It offers more power and adventure-ready capability. Here are all the details! Let’s dig in.
First, we must talk about the name “700h” and what it represents. It does NOT mean that this LX is powered by a giant 7.0-liter V8 or V12 engine. It’s a designation that refers to its most powerful 3.4L twin-turbo V6 hybrid with a rating of 457 hp @ 5,200 rpm and 583 lb-ft of torque @ 2,400 rpm. This engine requires premium gasoline and it delivers more power than any current or previous Toyota Tundra or Toyota Sequoia.

You can see that Lexus is keen to keep the LX’s wheelbase and size close to that of the GX 550. It mainly has to do with the wheelbase specification. It’s precisely 2,850 mm or 112.2 inches long. This is the same wheelbase that Toyota and Lexus have been using on their flagship off-roaders for several decades. They say it’s a great combination of interior space and maneuverable exterior size that helps in many off-road situations.
