Take a look at this! Is the a look at the refreshed 2025 Nissan Frontier interior dash and infotainment screen before you are supposed to see it? This image comes to us courtesy of a TFL viewer, Blake T. He saw a prototype truck doing hot weather testing near Phoenix, Arizona. We can confirm, that this blue prototype is wearing exterior camouflage and it is a version of a Nissan Frontier midsize pickup truck.
The current generation of the Nissan Frontier came out as a 2022 model. We have done extensive real-world testing of several different versions of the Frontier. The Frontier uses a 3.8L naturally-aspirated V6 that produces 310 horsepower. It’s a powerful and trusty powertrain. You can get the Frontier is several cab/bed configurations, but there is currently just one engine.
The midsize pickup truck segment has seen a lot of change since 2022. GM introduced all-new Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. Toyota has introduced an all-new 2024 Tacoma. Ford recently introduced a new generation of the Ranger. Nissan does not want to be left behind.
What we see so far is that Nissan has been testing Frontier prototypes in public for many months, if not a year. It appears they are close to officially reveal it later this year or early next year. We do not have an official word on this yet. The new Frontier prototypes are wearing exterior camouflage on the front and the rear, but styling updates appear to be minor.
Here is what the current Nissan Frontier looks like.
The prototype is showing a new and larger center infotainment screen, but there are still plenty of hard buttons and knobs to control the audio system and the HVAC climate system. This is good for a pickup truck.
We hope to learn more official information about the upcoming 2025+ Nissan Frontier soon. Please stay tuned to this website and our Youtube channels for more.
