Only 250 of these trucks will be available, and only for the U.S. market.
If you head over to the configurator page for the 2024 Jeep Gladiator, the most expensive option you’ll find is the Rubion X, which comes in at $64,890. Or, rather, it was the most expensive option, as Jeep announced a new limited edition Mopar Gladiator Wednesday, with a price tag of $72,190, including a $1,895 destination fee.
“We’re excited to continue our annual factory-vehicle customization program with the new Mopar ’24 Jeep Gladiator”, said senior vice president and head of Mopar North America, Mike Koval. For what it’s worth, this will be a fairly exclusive truck, as the automaker only plans 250 units for U.S. customers…and that’s it.
Building on your standard Gladiator Rubicon, the Mopar Gladiator adds some exterior and interior elements to the mix, but no added capability. You get Mopar’s heavy-duty rock rails, a triple-hoop grille guard, a three-piece body-color hard top, a tri-fold hard tonneau cover, spray-on bedliner, front and rear grab handles and a custom Mopar badge on the tailgate.
Custom Rubicon graphics are also part of the package, with the Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) logo on the sides. The truck also comes with a black clear-coat exterior.
Inside, the Mopar ’24 Jeep Gladiator gets two-tone Katzkin leather seats, with the interior sporting black and Maraschino red accents and embossed Omega M Mopar logos in the front seats. To that, this limited-run model also adds in a Mopar headliner, black sill trim and all-weather floor mats.
Under the hood, the Mopar ’24 Jeep Gladiator still packs the standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, putting out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This truck rides on 17-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in Falken all-terrain tires.
In addition to the truck itself, Mopar aims to bring a bit of extra value with an 83-piece JPP tool kit and a personalized certificate of authenticity with their truck’s serialized build number.
