PaxPower takes the current Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon, or Cadillac Escalade to a whole new level with the introduction of the Jackal SUV performance package. Let’s dig in!
As the recipe goes, it all starts with a high-quality suspension system. The team at PaxPower gives these new 2021-2024 SUVs a lift and 2.5-inch coil-over four corner suspension. There is a new trick available to “defeat” the factory air suspension of Magna-ride settings. Next they fit customized wheels and 35-inch all-terrain tires.
All images and information you see here are provided by PaxPower. The vehicle you see here starts out as a new Chevy Suburban Z71. The team at PaxPower say that these modifications will also apply to the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban.
The stock 6.2-liter V8 under the hood gets a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger for a total power output of 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. PaxPower will release the dyno test results soon. The engine breathes with an upgraded intake and exhaust systems. You can also select GM Performance Brembo brakes for this package as well.
Visual effects, graphics, and a customized interior round out the full package. As you can see you can pick and choose many different elements of the Jackal SUV. You could modify the GM SUV you already own, you can select and finance a new one with the Jackal SUV customization.
The Jackal SUV price starts at $15,000 for the suspension, wheels, tires, and exhaust. If you want the 650 hp supercharged V8 and 3-year/36,000 mile warranty on the supercharged powertrain, then it will be an additional $15,000.
GM’s full-size SUVs already dominate sales across the country and has done so for many years. This should only increase the interest.
For reference, here is a PaxPower Chevy Silverado 1500 Jackal drag race.
